This is the Stuff

Standard

Francesca Battistelli writes about the stuff that drives her crazy, the stuff that get’s to her lately.

Listening to the lyrics of her sweet and totally relatable song I have prepared a few phrases (in bold) that I belive should be considered if she ever decides to write a part two.

30 minute traffic for a 10 mile stretch,
patience please, as I’m running behind

Whoa oh oh

“This is the stuff that drives me crazy
This is the stuff that’s getting to me lately
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I’m blessed
This is the stuff that gets under my skin
But I gotta trust You know exactly what You’re doing
It might not be what I would choose
But this is the stuff You use”

I lost my voice, twice in two weeks,
call the doctor now, for some antibiotics please

Whoa oh

“So break me of impatience
Conquer my frustrations
I’ve got a new appreciation
It’s not the end of the world”

5 added pounds, on a 4’11” frame
Someone stop me, from picking up that icecream
oh oh oh

“This is the stuff that drives me crazy
This is the stuff that’s getting to me lately

In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I’m blessed
This is the stuff that gets under my skin
But I gotta trust You know exactly what You’re doing
It might not be what I would choose
But this is the stuff You use”
